Let me start by saying Christmas 2012, will be one we will never forget and hope doesn't happen again. It seems the whole month of December was super sad, too many awful things happening. My uncle Rey passed away the Thursday(19) before Christmas. Jared's grandma passed away the 23rd. So we had to prepare for 2 funerals.
Christmas came and went in a blur. For the most part, the girls were happy with what they got. The only complaint was they missed grandmas and grandpas. We all missed being at home with our families.
We packed up the next day and hit the road. We went up to our parents and the girls (well all of us) were happy. I left Thursday with my parents and sister to head to UT for my uncles funeral. Jared and the girls stayed in ID. Then I got back Friday night in time for Jared's grandmas viewing and then her funeral on Saturday.
It was just a different feeling for Christmas. But we were grateful to be able to be with family.
