Lesson Learned?

So this will be a short post, but something we learned this week. We started on our patio out back. We are pouring cement and then plan on doing an acid stain on it. (that's beside point) Well we started it last Saturday which would've been the 24. Then on Sunday, Jared thought he would hurry and put a top coat of cement on it to finish it off. Well, it rained, I should say it down poured for hours and it has rained everyday since then. So what we thought would look nice, ended up needing a little patching done on it. It was just one of the four squares we are doing.

The lesson we learned here(hopefully) is, just because it is a nice day and it happens to be Sunday, don't do work. Even if it's just a quick job, DON'T DO IT! Or else it will rain for a whole week and you won't have time to get anything done outside. (we are still waiting to plant the garden)
