Summer Fun

Well, this past weekend, we were able to spend a couple days down in Utah visiting Jason & Sarah's family and to see their new house. We had a lot of fun and we love their new house. It would be fun to have something like that. Ashlyn loved playing with her cousins and was sad to leave. She wanted to stay for another week, but we decided we couldn't live without her! Elly traveled pretty good. She got tired of the car, but did a lot of sleeping. We were thankful for that.

Ashlyn is doing the Summer Reading program this year. Its called "Catch the Reading Bug" and they had to create their own bug with various items that were given to us in a brown paper bag. So this is what we came up with.

Her name is Rose!

It was a lot of fun trying to figure out what to do with all the pieces. And we had to use them all. So we will see how we do when it comes time for judging.

If the wind would quit blowing, our summer would be more fun. But everyday, you can count on the wind blowing. Its not very warm and so with the wind its a little chilly at times. Hopefully sometime soon, we will see SUMMER!!!
