WOW! I can't believe it has already been 8 months (yesterday, 7th) that our little Ellysa May was born. Its crazy! She is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday. It just seemed like not to long ago she was starting to crawl and now she is trying to walk. Like I said, growing up to fast. Here are some things she can now do as an 8 month old:
* crawl super fast and get into things before I can get to her
* stand up to basically anything (even a little tiny ball on the floor)
* walk along things
* has one tooth through and one on the way
* eat big kid food and loves it
* put herself to sleep at night and for naps (only if she fights to go to sleep)
* understands the phrase "give kisses"
* shakes her head no
*dances and loves to dance with her dad, mom, or sister
* how to mess up Ashlyn's toys why she is playing
* navigate her way around the house
* understands what remote works and which one is there for her to play with
(she learned to watch for the light to show up when you push a button. no light means no batteries which means, its not the one to change things on the tv)
* she knows and loves her Sister and when she sees her, she laughs and gets really excited
* and our favorite one of all "Ma Ma" and "Da Da"
We've all made changes these past 8 months because for us, it was an adjustment having a new baby in the house. Ashlyn has been the best big sister anyone could ask for. She loves Elly and Elly loves her right back. Ellysa's eyes light up when she sees her and gets so excited when Ashlyn talks to her. She makes the days more fun and a lot easier on me as a Mom. (well when she's not in school.) So Happy 8th Month to all of us!
